At Fabrics Desire, we want you to be delighted with every piece you receive. If something isn't right, we're here to help. This policy outlines our approach to returns, exchanges, refunds, and cancellations.
1. Return Window
You may request a return within 7 days of delivery. The product must be unworn, unwashed, and in its original condition with all tags, labels, and packaging intact.
2. What Can Be Returned
Eligible for Return
- Item received is damaged, defective, or has a manufacturing fault
- Wrong item shipped (different style, colour, or size from what was ordered)
- Significant difference between the product received and the description on the website
Not Eligible for Return
- Innerwear, lingerie, swimwear, and intimate garments (for hygiene reasons)
- Customised or made-to-order items
- Products marked as "Final Sale" or purchased during clearance events
- Items that have been worn, washed, altered, or damaged after delivery
- Returns requested after the 7-day window
3. How to Initiate a Return
- Email us at contact@fabricsdesire.store within 7 days of delivery with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, the reason, and supporting photographs (if the item is damaged or defective).
- Our team will review your request within 2 business days and confirm eligibility.
- Once approved, we will arrange a reverse pickup through our courier partner. If reverse pickup is not available in your pincode, we will share a shipping address for self-dispatch.
- Pack the item securely in its original packaging along with all tags and the invoice.
4. Refund Timelines
Once we receive and inspect the returned product, refunds will be processed as follows:

Refund timelines start from the date the returned item is received and inspected at our warehouse. Bank processing times may add an additional 2–4 business days to reflect the credit.
5. Exchanges
We currently offer exchanges only for size-related issues, subject to stock availability of the requested size. To request a size exchange, follow the same process as initiating a return and mention the size you'd like in exchange.
6. Order Cancellation
- Before shipping: You may cancel your order free of charge by emailing contact@fabricsdesire.store as long as the order has not been packed and dispatched. Refunds for prepaid orders will be initiated within 24 hours.
- After shipping: Once the order has been handed over to the courier, it cannot be cancelled. You may refuse the package at the time of delivery, after which it will be treated as a return.
- COD refusal at delivery: Repeated refusal of COD orders may result in restriction of COD facility for future purchases.
7. Damaged or Wrong Items
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please email

48 hours of delivery with clear photographs of the item, its packaging, and the shipping label. We'll arrange a replacement or full refund at no extra cost to you.
8. Return Shipping Charges
- For damaged, defective, or wrong items shipped by us — return shipping is free.
- For returns due to size or change-of-mind reasons (where applicable) — a reverse pickup fee of ₹79 may be deducted from the refund.
9. Non-Receipt of Refund
If you have not received your refund within the timelines mentioned above, please first check with your bank or UPI provider. If the issue persists, contact us at contact@fabricsdesire.store with your order number and we'll investigate immediately.
